Lake Day Atlas

Southwest of Branson, Table Rock Lake spreads through wooded Ozark valleys. The dam end makes a convenient first visit, with shoreline walking, lake interpretation and a state park boat ramp within the same part of the reservoir.

On the water

Plan your lake day

Walk a section of the Table Rock Lakeshore Trail near the Dewey Short Visitor Center, then picnic by the lake. If you brought a boat, the state park ramp is near the park office. Pick a cove on the same arm for your first outing so you have time to fish or stop for lunch.

Field notes

Before you go

On a lake this branched, the nearest marina by water may require a long drive. Choose a supply stop on your road approach. The Kimberling City resort lists a machine at its maintenance building. Day visitors should confirm access with the resort first.
